Cars Movie Bluray Edition

Trust Pixar to imagine a world entirely populated by cars. The Cars movie opens with Lightning McQueen (voiced by Owen Wilson) as the overly confident rookie keen to take out first place on the Piston Cup series when the last race of the season ends in a three-way tie.

On the way to the tiebreaker race, Lightning loses his way of route 66 and is forced to come to a halt in the slow Southwest desert town of Radiator Springs. Some of the townsfolk sympathise with Lightning’s plight, including former big-city lawyer Sally Carrera (Bonnie Hunt) and the town’s leader, Doc Hudson (Paul Newman).

Another fun aspect of Cars is that it is packed with in-jokes, some appearing only for an instant. Trivia fans will truly love using the frame-by-frame Bluray function as this movie has plenty of comical moments.

The Cars Movie Bluray Edition is a big improvement on the DVD release of Cars with a number of hugely enjoyable bonus features and all in pristine high definition.
