The Silence of the Lambs Movie Bluray Edition

This terrifying film is more a psychological thriller than full of genuinely shocking moments, but does it all so well. Based on Thomas Harris’s novel, The Silence of the Lambs movie is technically mostly blood-free visually, but tells of the psychological descent into madness due to an unlikely connection between a monster of a man and a disturbed young woman.

Anthony Hopkins plays the creepy, cannibalistic psychiatrist Dr. Hannibal Lecter who is imprisoned for the rest of his deranged life for being criminally insane. Young FBI Agent-in-training Clarice Starling (Jodie Foster) approaches Lecter to gain his insights into a serial killer case nicknamed Buffalo Bill (Ted Levine). In exchange, Lecter demands Starling answer his questions that penetrate her most painful memories, creating a bizarre and disturbing relationship between them under horrific circumstances.

The Silence of the Lambs Bluray Edition from MGM/20^th Century Fox is a 2 disc set that offers anamorphic 1.85:1 transfer as well as all the documentaries and other special features included on previous editions of the film.
